Looking for a B-25 Builder

The IPMS 2024 National Convention (NATS) will be held in Madison, Wisconsin next July. I'm lookng for someone to build a 1/48-scale B-25 in paper.

The NATS B-25 Group Build is building a whole bunch of 1/48 scale B-25s to be displayed together at NATS. Builders are registering through Facebook to ensure no duplications. I signed up to build a paper B-25, "Sweet Sue" flown with the Air Commanche's in Burma. It was Erd Windgate's personal B-25, and it's the subject of FlyModel's B-25 kit. I have reduced the FlyModel B-25 to 1/48 scale, enhanced the nose art, and corrected the serial number.

I find I have too many other projects to prepare for NATS and for the model ships contest in May. Would anyone be interested in taking over "Sweet Sue"? I can send some updated graphics -- nose art, correct serial no.

It would be nice to have a well-built paper model in among the 50 or so plastic models. I just don't have time to do it, and I'm hoping someone will take over my slot. If you're interested, email me at [email protected].

Any takers?

Cheers,
--David

That's a good looking H model. Don't know that I'm up for that, but someone should definitely give it a crack.
