(PIrated?) IXS Enterprise on ebay.com (my photos!)

This is more a PSA for those who might be considering buying one of these following models.
Be warned, the model you will get is not the model pictured.
The model you will get is sold without permission of the designer.

I came across this seller on ebay.com that sells (obviously pirated) paper models.
...although he appears to have stores on many international ebay sites.

He sells paper model kits, but hes one of these guys that actually sells you printed models on A4 card (not just a PDF file).

huacong89 is his identity
and its states his location as "GUANGDONG, China"
just note, seems a lot of Chinese sellers use this location. maybe its a generic location for pirates to use?

Now this kit (IXS Enterprise) must be Murphy's kit (pirated).
(since I know of no other IXS Enterprise model, it must be Murphy's)

I've posted a link to the ebay listing, since:
a. ebay itself isn't a pirate site
b. this guy's stores and listings are easy to find.

I am trying to determine this guy's identity...if anyone knows him?

Funny thing is, the photos of the built IXS Enterprise model are not Murphy's model.
They are my photos, from the custom build I did back in 2017/2018.
You'll be severely disappointed to find there are a considerable number of major differences between the two models.

They are quite literally two different models.
And my model was never published or shared with anyone.
I built one for a private commission.

I tried to contact ebay about reporting the photos, but I don't have a .com account.
And I shuttered my .ca account.
And they've made it more difficult to report Intellectual Property theft without having an ebay and VERO account.

Thanks Dave. While I'm unable to aid in identifying this pirate , identifying him/her/it on eBay goes part way in limiting their ability to profit from the piracy.

eBay is worthless.

Closed my account after 20+ years (1996 join date).

Known scamming accounts, eBay close the account, then you have to wait a certain period to request your money back.

Very hard to get any response from them, trying to get your money back, even though they close the scammer accounts.

You want to lose money, use eBay.

If eBay closes the account, should be an automatic refund to anyone who bought from the scammer as eBay approved the account to begin with..

I will admit that I do not like eBay any more.
Over the years they have put a lot into controlling scam sellers and various ways of bilking customers.
But their rule changes have made it more difficult for the average seller.
And its just not a fun site to sell on any more.

Their shipping standards mean you have no control over shipping costs.
Sure you can't overcharge a buyer, but you also can't undercharge.
Unless you just offer free shipping and overprice your item.
And its all just too complicated when listing an item.

And the site is too full of stores and retailers selling everything at Buy it Now pricing.
Many of them Chinese junk sellers. (and not the floaty type)
Gone is the auction site that made ebay famous.
Gone are the crazy deals and cheap finds.

I gave up this past year because now eBay does not support paypal?
They demanded my bank account information.
I guess its just direct deposit and withdrawal now?
No way I am giving them my bank info.

But, I didn't start this trying to bash ebay...
what angers me is this guy huacong has something like 860 sales on ebay of pirated paper models?
if hes making $10-$35 a pop, hes making a helluva lot more money than me.
And hes not the one designing the models!
Thats why I want him stopped.
Not just because he used an image of mine without permission.

I was gonna leave a review about how you could get the model for free instantly, with a link to my site, but eBay has changed their review policy as well. Reviews aren't linked to the specific item, and you must have purchased the item to review it.

So he could have acquired the model from your site?
Was it not a retail model (at some time)?

I'm still assuming its your model, but with my photo.

I'd love to see the product he's selling.
To verify what model and if its properly complete.
I'd also like to see the quality of what you get for $35.99

I'm half tempted to buy it and see what I get. Except I don't trust online shipping, and can't afford the $35 .
