Recommend a good printer ?

Recommend a good printer ?

Just got into more printer material. Wondering if you guys can recommend a good printer. Mostly doing 40k tank/armor stuff, and so I figure I need to use some heavier weight paper. I just want to make sure it wont jam up break due to use of thick stock.

Thanks.

I'm only 37 and remember those! And all the paper dust inside them, ripping the feed portion off both sides then separating the sheets. Ah the good old days. Life before cell phones and the World Wide Web.

No worry we would never jump on anyone asking a question like this, my advice is read all the threads then look up on such things as the amount of dpi a printer can handle and for the best price of the original and can you get ink for it cheap either the company one or genetic. I don't buy the epsom one for mine for years to expensive and have found a supplier which is resenable priced a very fast dilivery. last order was at my door less than twenty hours after i paid with paypal.

Heck I even skipped the 80 MB hard drive and went with the 40 MB to save up to get a 24 pin printer, on the first PC I ever built.

But I did at least put 4 MB of RAM in her, at 50 bucks a meg!

386sx25 a screaming machine!

After reading the threads above, I am down to a few models;

Canon MX860 for $120
Canon MP620 for $140

Epson 710 for 130
Epson 810 for 200

Any opinions are welcome
