Hi, mckinnell;
I am a member at airshipmodeler.com and I just logged on over there with no trouble, so the site appears to be okay. How may I help you?

Hi, mckinnell;

I just sent an email to the Administrator over at airshipmodeler.com explaining your problem and asking his help. I expect he will reply soon but you won't hear from me till tomorrow because I am going to bed. I will send you a PrivateMessage when I learn something. I am sure it is a minor glitch in the Signup Mechanism and can be corrected easily.

As for all the text you sent; it is just a load of "computer talk" sometimes called "formatting." You have heard of html, I am sure. Well, that's what it looks like. It is very useful to know sometimes but it is possible to live a long and happy life without ever knowing any of that crap.
Good Night
Thomas

Hi, mckinnell;

Um, I just checked the airshipmodeler forum and you are listed as "our newest member."

I suggest you just try logging on with your username and password and see what happens. You may have gotten registered without knowing it and then it wouldn't let you register because you were registered already or some such nonsense.

Good Luck. Let me know...

It's not all computer gibberish - the key part is the rejection message:

"<XXXXX@earthlink.net>:
Connected to 209.237.138.38 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 553 5.3.0 <[email protected]>... REJECT Spam Relay"

Presumably the email host "earthlink.net" is running filter software to weed out spam emails. It looks as though the domain you are mailing from "ntlworld.net" is considered by the earthlink.net filter as a source of spam emails or rather a relayer of spam. Not much you can do about this - except mail from another email system such as gmail or hotmail - these don't usually get blocked by mail filters.

Regards,

Charlie

Thanks, CharlieC;
Yeah, I know it's not all gibberish. I only disdain it because of my own ignorance.

And Thanks for the tip. I think you are correct.
