Polish Paper Model History

I'm going to attempt to write a research paper on the history of Polish paper models for a high level university course I'm taking in Polish History. Of course I'll concentrate on Maly Modelarz (that's where the history part comes in) However, I'm looking for information on Polish printing, paper, and Maly Modelarz (Little Models) magazine and other Polish paper model publishers. I've found some stuff in the Schreiber book and about the Polish printing industry in the Post WWII period. Much on the Internet is in the Polish language, and I read only English and Spanish. Would appreciate any ideas folks on the forum have as to where to look in English on the Internet. I do know the story of Maly Modelarz and have fairly good research on contemporary Polish publishers. But I'd like to include a comprehensive list of current Polish paper model producers. Thanks for reading this and thinking about it. If you have comments on any of this, I can quote you.

Alan

That sounds like a very interesting topic. I'm afraid I don't have any information to contribute, but I'd be very anxious to read your paper when you publish it.

One tiny thing; maly modelarz is little modeler, not model

I'm not much of a history person, so I can't help with anything else :o

Here http://www.konradus.com/linki/index.php you can find links to all Polish publishers - look at the bottom of the page under "Wydawnictwa, producenci modeli i akcesoriów - POLSKA" caption
Here http://wsmk.konradus.com/fnwyd.php? by clicking on the publishers name, you can find all models published by them.

Nothing to do with models but the first books printed in Cyrillic alphabet came from Polond. The second ones were from Montenegro.
See how this site broadens the mind!
I can't find the link instantly but if you Google Printing in Cyrillic or siomesuch you should find it.

Thanks for highlighting these Michael, they are very useful, especially the database. Makes it easy to go a see what models a given designer has done!

Just curious. Have you ever finished your research on Polish paper models?
