Cool gift
on friday i'm going up to Linköping (where they build the JAS-39 Gripen) and go to the airforce museum on saturday (9/11) where i will get to fly for an hour in the Gripen simulator they have at the museum
and on top of that i had another gift certificate which i'm contemplating to either go for a ride in a Ferarri or Lambo OR go to Stockholm or Gävle and fly in a Viggen or Draken simulator i have until summer to make my mind up

back again, really nice museum, not as big as the one you have in the states though
they have a small collection of aircrafts, from 1909 up to the modern Gripen and of course the Gripen smulator which was pretty cool to "fly" will post some pics as soon as i have converted them to proper sizes one of the more interesting things where some small exhibitions about Sweden in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's where they had rooms made in the styles of these decades, and i tell you seeing the 60's and 70's livingrooms was just like coming home to our house from way back when now i have thoughts of doing the Swedish airforce jet age i.e. J-29, J-32, SK-60, J-35, J-37 and J-39 can anybody point me to here these models can be found, Maly has some i think, but i don't know, i'm mostly looking for scales between 1:33 to 1:48

I'm a big fan of Saab aircraft and have a few of the J-35 through J-39 kits. Maly Modelarz has a nice J-39. Flymodel has the J-35 and J-37. Hobby Model has a J-35 and two J-39s. Many of these printed kits are hard to find now and expensive. One of the other forums has a nice Geli J-35 for free download (Kartonbau.de). All aforementioned kits are 1:33 in scale. There is also Pmodels which has 1:50 scale J35 and J39 kits. Stahlhart has a free J-35 for download in many liveries and I believe in also in 1:50 scale (Stahlhart Papercraft – Paper Models of Aircraft, Buildings and Figures ).
