Planes to be DESIGNED
OK - I want several planes to be designed for the Aces of Ecardmodels series. They must be designed to 1:33 include a cockpit and wheelwells when appropriate. They should be appropriately detailed for a 1:33 model not just a 1:48 or 1:72 blown up. Internal formers should be supplied as well.
To help get these moving along I will commission up to five planes from this list (more if I can afford it later) I will pay $300 per plane and I will own full rights. Of course you can design and sell as yourself through the shop just like always. I just know that some of you like that largish payout right up front. Please let me know if you already have any of these in the works so I can take them off the list. I will also email this out tonight when I get home to make sure it reaches all designers! WWI albatross DII albatross dv sopwith camel Fokker DII fokker dvii fokker dri nieuport 17 spad xiii WWII A6M variants (no idea how different they are from each other) BF109 variants (I have T, Z in 1:33 and F,D,E in 1:50) F and G most important Brewster model 239 F4F-3 and 4 F4u-1 and 1A I would like a redesign done on this due to fit issues with mareks old version F6F-3 and 5 FW 190A-6 Gladiator I Hurricane KI-43 La-5 me-262 Spitfires (no idea how much variants differ, dave winfield did some already so he gets first crack at these) Mustang III P-38 J (others too but dont know how much variants differ) P-39 p-47 p-51d tempest Mk V |

p38J that is scale 1:50 by marek. some aces had the p38H no idea what the differences were exaclty but sure we can figure that out.

can we not just incrase the size and move the parts on the p38J chris to fit on A4 pages or is that an awful lot of hassle never done a rescaling thing will we give it a try? one problem no idea what size to increase the original page to to get it to 1:33 anyway. then do the recolouring as needed or would marek throw a wobbly if we went altering the size of his models for the shop?
i can't do much the laptop is dead anyway and no ram really and is taking about half an hour to open software now. my beard is going gray just waiting for firefox to change pages. new laptop on the way hopefully buy one on tuesday or maybe tommorow depending on the time the loan gets sorted. |

we want to keep it on letter as its smaller so will work for both here and europe. I am also unsure if scaling up dierctly would have enough former support.... i dont have the design experience to know. Marek wouldnt have a problem with it, Sergey did it with a couple of his others

A4 210 × 297 mm Letter 8 inch x11 inch 215.9 mm × 279.4 mm So the letter is shorter but slightly wider than the A4. If you keep a good margin you have no problem to print it but if you use the whole space in the letter format you can't print the page without rearrange the parts. I know that and for example I can't buy cardboard in letter size in my country. I think the best compromise is design for a 200 mm x 270 mm rectangle so you can print in in both papers and you have some margin because some printers can't print without margins. Regards Alcides |

As for resizing models: I resized only to A4 format, have no idea how to make in letter format :(
