Canon Creative Park Ornament Tree
Hi all,
I have been wanting to do this tree for years since I first saw it on Creative Park. The tree comes in 4 parts, 2 sets of parts, one for the tree, and one for all the ornaments, and 2 sets of instructions, again, one for the tree, and one for all of the ornaments. The tree is available in both A4 and Letter size. A4 link >>> https://creativepark.canon/en/conten...103/index.html Letter link >>> https://creativepark.canon/en/conten...104/index.html There are 23 sheets for the Tree, and 22 for all the ornaments, you get 4 color options, red, blue, yellow, and white, so if you feel inclined you can color coordinate, or hang every color ornament on the tree. I have printed the tree on Wausau Bright White 65lb Cover, and on the plain paper setting on my Epson Workforce WF7610. The ornaments, I printed on the presentation paper, matte setting using HP Premium 32, 32lb presentation paper. I will probably score the tree first, get that out of the way, and when I am bored with my current project. I might go with a monochromatic tree, haven't decided as of yet, so ornaments will come then Rick

A word of caution, when assembling the branches, make sure you trim the black line away from the 3 green fingers on the 4 parts that make up the inside branches/trunk section.
I would also advise to cut the black line away from the parts that make up the outside of the branches, only the edge closest to the yellow notches you cut out after assembling the outside branches, this way the inside branches/trunk will fit easier, with out any overlap

Final shots of the tree
without the peak ornament, the tree stands at 18 inches tall, with the peak, probably around 20.5 to 21 inches tall

Hi all,
I have attached two pictures showing 1 of each of the ornaments Only the peak, and the cube ornaments were all done to completion, the bell, the flat star and octahedron ornaments still have multiples to go until finished. I probably could work on finishing them all, but seeing I am only in the office for 2 days this week, and by the time I come back, Christmas is over, I decided to stop, and refocus on something else, something vehicular(shocker I know) Rick

I hope you filled the boxes with nice chocolates - say liqueur truffles (I make a mean truffle).
What did the one chocolate say to the other when they got into a fight? "Don't truffle with me Cadbury!"
