The back of the bus was also in need of some trim work. The areas requiring trimming can be seen in the circles and by the orange colored zones.

So after all the little bits of trimming to the internal structure, I was able to glue down the chassis without too much problem.
I still have not glued the end of the frame to the chassis assembly. I would like to install the engine and drive axle first and would prefer to have a little flexibility here in case I need it. |

Next build the draive shaft (#5) but do not glue it in yet. This way when we install the engine, it can be moved back to make contact with the engine.

The engine is easy enough to build once you figure out where all the bends need to be. I had to look at this a bit to find where they were as it was not obvious at first.
The green lines are bend lines and the red are cut lines. |

Install the completed engine and move the drive shaft back to make contact with the motor.
My project moves a little slow because I do it on lunch or breaks at work. |

That's not the drive shaft, that's the shift rod.

Right, the shift rod. Now I have the drive shaft installed.
