'1993 BMW 3 Series Convertible (E36).

Dear friends,
though I'm not a fan of BMW in fact, rescently I assembled one of the most charismatic serial European cars of 90-s, the BMW 3 Series (E36 body), now as Convertible. It was not quite easy to reproduce its soft-top.
Showin' it in process

Some representatives of the E36 family have been built before, but they look much simper (please see the difference here):

More versions should come then, such as M3, Coupe, Sedan and Touring.

Good luck, waiting for your replies...

Looks very good ... quite a break from the mid-80's GM models ... different decade, different continent

Nice build

Thanks, I see you remarked, I'm really interested of mid-80's GM models in fact (perhabs because they were huge in variety of their platforms and bodystyles). But I would like to try more. For example, I still have no British, Korean, Chinese and more models in my modelcar collection.

Very nice. The mid 90's model BMW's are ideal for paper due to their clean line design. They look great.

My brother-in-law had one of these. You have captured it's essence. I told him it looked like this but he refused to accept it. Great job as usual. You see right through these designs!!

Zathros, I'm glad to see you again in forum.

What about your idea of a '73 Mercedes SL, I did not approach it. I would like to try more others. E.g. I have found in the web some projects of ealrier models, starting from 1930's. But this will require much more patience.

Here are some more ideas for near future builds:

'32 Ford V8
'48 Citroën 2CV fourgonette
'47 Citroen HY fourgon
'65 Mercury Monterey / Montclair / Park Lane / Colony Park
'76 Bristol 603 / Brigand / Britannia / Blenheim
'76 Aston-Martin Lagonda
'84 Chevrolet Corvette C4

and more...

That's a nice list of cars. The '65 Mercury Monterey would definitely be a very cool car to see come to life! ( and the '32 Ford V8, of course).

Like the 65 Mercury, but would really like the Bristol 603 since there are so few models available for Bristol cars in any scale or media. The whole list is pretty good.
