Bodyshell in process. When ready, will be shaped out with card panels applied inside.

Sure, in this stage it looks not much realistic, and perhabs this color doesn't look adequate.
Another roof surface of mid-hard paper, painted the same light aspen green, will be added above, and the hood will be pulled up, to give the model more essence. When the whole bodyshell will be ready, chromed front and rear bumbers will be formed of multi-layer card and covered with paper-based aluminium foil. What I'm sure in is no labels and decals are to provide, as far as the Bristol is reconisable without them et al.
Should I add something more here to build it better?

It looks excellent! Maybe find some period UK number plates?

By the way, being a British car, it has a "bonnet" rather than a "hood" . We also refer to the "trunk" as the "boot".

For my modelcars I use fictional number plates in European style, referred to East Prussia (EP), with historical black&white flag (like my avatar).

I was 21 in 1976...now, a 1976 car is being called "vintage"? I guess I'm officially old (lol).

Dear ModelCars 39:
What type of paint did you use for coloring the pieces of the model? I liked the way it came out. I've tryed water color pencils and water soaked Q tips with indifferent results your way looks better.
THANKS,
MILES

I use inks and their dissolved combinations. In this case it's aged (over 10 years) green ink.
