hi guys,
thanks again for your comments and suggestions .
'the little box' should have been in the download section by know!
2 things are slowing me down: wife has just come out of hospital 'triple by-pass', ouch! so, having to run around to help her out and the other is:
i've managed to get a converter to be able to put sketch-up into the adobe thingy. now i have to get my head around being able to write into this document (basic instructions) then make it a pdf and then put into the download section. when one has always downloaded pdf's and the like to print and make, having to think the other way round is a little baffling at the moment!. i'm sure i'll work it though. 'all for a little box' .

jaffro> hi there buddy. think ya read into it a bit fast. i only made the display box with programme. the landie was scratch built. believe me bud if i could sculped this with a programme i would have a big head alright!
and yeh i would be getting in touch with chris. did think though, of painting the landrover in red and having 'service van' painted on the side so i could follow your big rig around just in case ya got into trouble! he, he .

Ok sorry, I did read too much into it... let me rephrase it then... "Holy crap you do some awesome scratchbuilding, too bad you can't sell it cos people would be lining up to buy the stuff"

Speaking of my big rig, I've seen a lot of pictures of smaller cars and vans that are a part of the Mammoet support fleet, I might get around to throwing a couple in, but first i need to build the trailer, which will be my first attempt at scratchbuilding from "scratch" Usually I just add details to an existing model or kit, so I might have to pick your brain for a few ideas. One more thing while we're talking about my truck... it's finished, I literally have 2 decals to apply to the thing and then I'm taking it outside in the sun for a bunch of photo's.
