haven't done much painting only the chassie and wheels whith black artits oil paint thined down whith terpentine just love the smell! the rest is the printid model couler and a black ,red and orange felttips and a black sharpy for the wire parts .

a continuation of the Star 20 crane.I've actually finished it now but let's go back in time.from where we last left off with the completion of the motor housing and moving on to the construction of the jib.
this was fairly straightforward only it wasn't very clear quite where some strengthening strips went in second pic
.I almost forgot the little piece that fits inside the jib where the angle changesthis would be a good place in the build to insert the pulley wheel that guides the lifting cable over this angle as it can be fiddly once you've got the jib fully completed but not impossible,I did manage to do it third pic.
the jib completed and fixed to the motor housing and the lifting stirrup and pulley fixed on, another view or two.

some more tardy posting progress.first off cable drums and there housing.
then the movable safety cover.
then the fixed outer cover, front and back
with the jib lifting cabling place and also the winch cable.
