that looks awesome! I bought mine off ebay still in shrink wrap for $18 shipped (it took the seller $11 in shipping costs) so I wrote it off as my $8 purchase

I am in the progress of building this car too. I will say it,s nice for a papermodel this large.I had the same problem wih the hood fit.I do have a solution, but you can only do this once. I steamed it till the parts separated and then re-assembled it where it came out correct. The most fun was seeing how those beautiful "wire wheels" came out.I wish they still made this kit.Now that I,ve done one the second would have to be a whole lot better looking. papersurprise50

ENRICO63-HI.What i did was cheat. I used fly tying line on mine.It gave it a more scale sized "wire" to the wheel.I have been experimenting with some wheels I scratchbuilt to test a theory. You can,if you feel brave enoigh, use real wire. You just cannot weave it.It would be All individual spokes.NOT for the faint of heart or relative newcomer to paper modelbuilding.Remember,I,ve been building proffessionally for over 40 years and am a retired engineering type as well. papersurprise50
