Unhappy Help with Paper-Replika Vespa?

I want to build this Vespa by Paper-Replika as a gift for a friend, but I am having an issue with printing it, and was wondering if anyone else had this problem. In the second pic, you can see the way it looks on the screen, and how it prints out. What seems to be happening is that there are shaded grey areas(a light spray of black pixels) that are being printed solid black. As you can see, the wish-bone shaped pieces have a grey background that seems to be printing properly, so I don't think it is an issue with the printer. Anyone else have this problem?

When opened with Adobe's Reader it opens well in my PC and prints ok with my Epson InkJet. Are you using Adobe?

Yea, it looks like you're using the Preview app that comes with Mac OS. Go download Adobe Reader (free) and try printing from that and see if the issue persists.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! Preview was the problem; it printed fine with Adobe. (Hadn't set Adobe as default.) This forum is a great resource, and I greatly appreciate it! Thanks again!

I had similar problems until I too set Adobe as default. Preview would also cut off edges of pages on occasion.
