Hi, Folks!

Latest update-- I have added Cami's Flower Car to the line up, and work on the truck line is up to the test-build stage, or will be as soon as I get a working printer at home. The trucks, so far include two pick-ups, standard and crew-cab stepsides, a panel van, a Suburban-style people carrier, and two versions of what a Bronco might have looked like in the mid-'40's.

Pics later, but right now, I'm getting ready to leave work...

It's nothing really special, just an extra-short wheelbased slab-sided truck with an extended roof. Initially, I thought of making it something like a Willys Jeepster, but it ended up as something closer to a Land Rover or mid-60's Bronco.

Cami, were Broncos sold as Fords or Mercurys in Canada?

I have never heard of Mercury Broncos. Mercury trucks were sold from 1946-1968 and the Bronco was first released in 1966 if I am correct, but I do not think any of them were ever badged as Mercurys.

I ask only because I know that other Ford trucks of the era, like your Dad's Panel, were badged as Mercurys. And yes, 1966 was the first year for the Bronco.

A whole day of TV and working on this project. Fixed a problem with the rear fenders (on all 68 completed model sheets) reworked some niggling bits I didn't like, and had time to make four completely new models. Going to spend the rest of the evening building, as I've been on the computer so long, my right shoulder and elbow are sore. Yes, really!

You know that if you need help with test builds, we would all like to give you a hand with that ... hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

But I know that you need to do it yourself, so you know that you know that you know it will build right.

VK, you might make it yet. I recently enlisted a group of kids from the local high school, none of whom had ever seen, much less built a paper model, to take on a few of these. Yes mistakes have been made, but they are completely enjoying the process.

Also, things are getting out of hand on the design front. I seem to have started another new version, but it has three axles. No more clues about it, except I think Cami is gonna love it...
