I like it! Woodies are so cool and that long/low effect definetely is reminiscing of the advertisements from that era. I think you brilliantly achieved your goal and I can't wait to see the rest of your line. Did you give your cars a brand name?

Not really, but I did do a shield-style emblem for the hood and hubcaps and put my initials in it. They'll be on all of the final versions. Another thing I added on the woody, just for fun, was a ration sticker in the corner of the windshield. It kind of sets the era, even though the license plates I'm adding are based on post-war California plates from '47 and '51.

ARRGH!!!!! Must. Stop. Making. New. Designs.

As of today, I think I'm up to 26 or 27 variations on the basic design. I sketched two in the hospital emergency room, last night, (had a bad reaction to a bee sting, but I'm fine, now) and knocked out a "Sport" version today, while I was waiting for my daughter at the doctor. At the rate I'm going I'll make more models than GM in its prime...

Glad to hear your fine! 27 versions!!! In the fifties, car makers were proposing about 15-20 models from the same bodyshell. I have counted 22 for my '59 Ford, but 27.... sounds cool!

I blame you for some of them, Cami. The Parade Car and Phaeton, anyway. Work is dead this afternoon, so I'm sitting here translating my sketches of the sports car into MS Paint. Hoping to have a rough version done by tomorrow, but the math for the curved sections is slowing me down.

Hadn't really planned to do versions of real cars, just making my own, but let me play with the design a bit...

The Next Model

This is the latest one in the series, the first one to be completely finished, the Aerosedan. Comments? Ideas?
