Thanks to everyone leaving comments in this thread. I bought laser cut parts from the GPM website (Polish) in the "Accesories". When painting I always try to paint all parts which are in the same colour at the same time. But yes, I do paint as I go

those wheels look awesome, can't wait to see them painted. I wish I knew about those treads before I cut the treads for my crane, i'll check out the GPM site to see if there's any other stuff I can use later on, I'm currently looking for a good source for laser cut bolt heads...

Rixtoys, I'm sure that if you email GPM they will be happy to help you

I started to make wheel arch. The one in the original kit was too simple, so I decided to upgrade it

That's some pretty impressive stuff. I looked on the GPM website but couldn't find those treads anywhere, also, are those laser-cut bolts on the wheel hub or did you cut them yourself?

Hiob did you sand the edges of the tires? How did you keep them smooth ? did you use some filler ?

Thank you for nice words

Rixtoys, I sanded them first, then I soaked them in super glue, and then I sanded them again.

Those wheels are really time consuming...

First wheel ready:

I hope you like it.
