Mk 2 Cortina 1600E
Hi,
Have been away working since August and am home for a couple of weeks. I plan to finish the Mk 2 Escort as well as this model. This is about 1/18th scale. As you can see it is a first build with already lots of tweaks, redrawing needed, but is a fair representation so far. Hopefully will be able to complete both before heading out again. Seasons Greetings to all and best for 2013. Ian B. |

Looks great so far,one of my brothers had one with a purple fury interior, ever the follower of fashion, thankfully he never went as far as another Cortina owner that lived near by who covered the whole exterior bodywork in fur and could often be seen driving something that looked very much like a large drowned rat in the rain.

probably had fluffy dice and Dixie horns too.My oldest brother had his E type drophead at the time and refused to let my other brother park his Cortina anywhere near it.
