Where do you buy 12 x 3 meters floor boards to let an original look like a model?
Outstanding! Really outstanding!

Milan,
Outstanding work as always. In the dashboard pictures the largest dial appears to be installed rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Was this intentional? Phil |

Sideways Gauges
Pretty common in the day. A driver might not have time to actually read a gauge, so they were set such that when everything was where it needed to be, the needle pointed straight up.

It was common in large multi-engined aircraft too.
Instead of having to carefully look at maybe 20 or more gauges they were set up so that in a normal flight condition all the needles pointed the same way. A quick glance would determine if they were all the same. If one was not then it would readily stand out. |
