John Deere 4450 MFWD
Complete. Couple of rough edges but it turned out OK.
As for vintage...I have designed models back to the 1960s but haven't gone back into the 2 cylinder era yet. As time allows someday I'll get there. Enjoy Matt |

Truly delightful. It surprises me that you can turn out your models so quickly.

There's a Russian designer who has had a couple of things posted on here such as a Stalinetz S65 that has just started working on a Soviet licensed copied of an International. Think its a 15-30 from roughly 1932-35.

1/64 Scale Fox Forage Chopper and Wagon
Latest project is a tribute to my late Grandfather. I spent many an hour as young child on his knee chopping corn silage for the dairy farm in Iowa on a machine like this.
It is a Fox Super D with a 2 row corn head and a hay pick up. I built in 1/64 to match up with my other models. I had previously built one at 1/32 scale for my uncle who still owns the real machine. The frame for the chopper unit was all tubing and the geometry of the pipe bends took me awhile to get figured out in creating the pattern design. Enjoy Matt |

That is so stinking cool. How long did it take to figure this set all out?

Great stuff! love the amount of detail you're able to fit in those li'l guys--the engine, rear end & three-point on the 4450 is particularly spot on. Haven't had the chance to operate most of those, but have put a bit of time in on the 1466's little brother, the 966. Grand old machines. Looking forward to more

I always enjoy seeing your remarkably detailed farm equipment models, Matt. You have a real flair for designing and building these gems - and you are doing an excellent job of documenting this vital area of human activity.
