Very COOL. I need to build one to scale in flat black to display with my new 12" Batman action figure. It looks like something the Dark Knight would ride.

Fantastic ! Very, very nice model ! I love it, even if it's clear that I will not be able to do it. The model is probably too difficult for me.

Thanks for the comments. I finally have an update to provide.

I finished all the fixes to the 3d model and am now working on creating the textures. I've not had too much experience with texturing but what I lack in experience I make up for with patience and dedication. I've learned three basic things so far. 1) Texturing is not as hard as I initially thought, 2) Texturing is actually pretty cool, 3) I love GIMP.

Unfortunatley since I'm not so adept, it is taking me forever (took me a week to do what you see in the pics below). I think I may have to retarget the finish date for sometime in January next year (rather than end of this year as I initially thought). I'm going to spend the extra time to get the textures at the level I am satisfied with.

Below are my results so far on the rear end. It may be overkill on detail, but that's what makes it fun! Hope you like it :D

If the screencaps are any indication of the end product it will be well worth the wait!
