That is looking sp0lendid. Good idea to use those blue lights.

Tyres look fine - given the shortness of life a good decision by you to skip detailing here!

I need to catch up....

Fenders, exhaust, rear winch, outrigger jacks, tanks, turntable, swing bearing and drive motor, and finally basic superstructure cab assembly.

Cab guts.

I found a design error.

Replaced steering wheel rim here too.

Left hand console pivots out of entry way, but still a tight fit.

Cab finished and mounted. Drawings for this part could be better. Got it figured out though.

Also one picture of our pup Ollie. He ain't broke, he just practicing his contortionist moves.

Counterweight, hoist and lift cylinder all done and installed.

Main hoist tube and lift cylinder barrel had to be rolled around 10 mm core. A knife handle worked for the hoist tube. I had to go buy a No. 15 knitting needle (10 mm dia) to do the long lift cylinder barrel.

The hoist reel tube strip then needed shortened to increase its inner diameter to fit the hoist tube, as did the lift cylinder rod piston strip to fit inside the barrel.

I also had to plug the end of the lift cylinder rod with stryene core to give the attachment eye a good place to anchor onto.

Boom assembly is underway. All basic boom sections are done. The outer-mid section (3rd from bottom) is more snug than necessary, so I may have to keep the boom retracted once I am done.

There are holes in each section that line up for fully extended boom, so it can be pinned in place. That's why there are toothpicks sticking out of the boom in various places.

Currently working on cable guide rollers for the section ends.
