Spent much of the day just getting this far. Doesn't look like much headway, but those details are time consuming.

All I accomplished today was to glue the cab to the utility section, and to glue a base plate (to be the running boards) to the body.

I think all the 'stuff' is why we are all intrigued by fire trucks from an early age. I think by age 1 1/2, my son was able to distinguish between the sirens of police cars, ambulances and fire trucks, and it was the fire trucks that had him excited
