Land Rover series I

Greetings everyone.

I finally got a new printer and wanted to test it, trying something simple. And classic Land Rover seems to be a good subject for this. Scale is going to be 1:43.

So far, i finished full set of wheels; i'm not entirely satisfied with results, but it's unlikely that i will redo them (though for finished model it makes sense to change wheel design a little, current variant is a little too labour consuming and not really suitable for average builder). The colour is supposed to be "Marine blue", but i think printer made it darker than needed.

I'm curious about result as well. Currently i'm preparing parts for chassis frame; unfortunately, first try on side parts wasn't sucessful, so i'm going to redo them. My working schelude leaves me pretty little time for modelling, which affects the process not in the best way.
But if everything goes well, i should get something that looks like on the picture below.

Based on what we see so far, this looks like a first rate piece of work. The wheels and chassis are excellent.

This model is my own design, so basically it's a test build. If everything goes well, it can be turned into a kit.

A very little progress today, i made new side parts of frame instead of previous ones, now they look better. More chassis parts to come.

My favourite 4-wheeler so I'm following this build. Good work so far.

Sub'd this thread. Kudos for doing a proper RHD version. Will it have UK plates? What era?
