LADA SAMARA T3 DAKAR

Scale : 1:100
Author : FDS model
Source : www.minimodel.sk (FE4060-free model)

A few words about the original:

In 1990, Lada Poch fielded three Samara specials at the Dakar Rally (the car used a Porsche engine), in which Jacky Ickx (with co-driver Christian Tarin), Patrick Tambay (with Dominique Lemoyne) and Jérome Riviére (with Daniel Jacquemard) sat. The most successful was Ickx, who finished the race in a great seventh place. He even won one speed test! Riviere was eleventh, while Tambay had to withdraw after the first day due to a seized engine. Starting number 213 is J.Icx's car.

My edits:

I modified the bumpers, fenders and a few other things, dusted the car a little and made a simple pad. A few photos:

LAMBORGHINI LM002

Scale : 1:100
Author : FDS model
Source : www.minimodel.sk (FE4061-free model)

A few words about the original:

In 1988 the Swiss World LM Racing Team entered a bright red LAMBORGHINI LM002 in the Paris Dakar (drivers JO.COUCET - M.KERZEN) and although some sources say that it had to withdraw from the race, other sources say that this car with the starting number 519 finished 10th in the Marathon category, which was not bad at all for a private team...

My edits:
I have added more details here. The most laborious was the structure around the body, on which there is a rope that holds the spare wheels, others are: modified front mask, widened fenders, added details on the roof and a few more details, I dusted the car a little and made a simple pad.

Exellent models, beautifully displayed.

It's hard to believe they are 1/100.

Mercedes 450 SLC

Scale : 1:100
Author : FDS model
Source : www.minimodel.sk (FE4052-free model)

A few words about the original:

The Mercedes 450 SLC was a car with a powerful eight-cylinder forked five-liter engine and a three-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes won a couple of races with it in 1979 and 1980, but in 1981 the brand stopped rallying... as for the Dakar, two older competitive 500 SLCs were bought by racer Jochen Mass and had them modified for the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally. Blue cars however, with white stripes and generous support from Hugo Boss and Blaupunkt, they ended up deep in the field of losers. Mass himself, navigated by the American Stephen Pers, took 62nd place in the car category, Albert Pfuhl and Hans Schuller finished 44th.

My edits:

I modified the front part, completed the protective frame and a few other things, dusted the car a little and made a simple pad. A few photos:

LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110

A few words about the original:

This LAND ROVER participated in the Paris - Dakar rally in 1989. The crew consisted of BOCHET/DELETTRE, who finished the competition in 80th place.

My edits:

I modified the front end a bit and added details all over the car...tried to make the wheels more detailed (the side of the wheel is made up of 3 parts instead of one) and it looks better, I dusted the car and made a simple pad. A few photos:
