Hello Sebestian,
Sorry for the late reaction but I work in hospital and currently have much work to do. I hope I can start next week with the truck. I appreciate your offer for the Cabin. This would be nice. Your Jelcz is fantastic! I was actually studied this cabin and saw the mess of Answer. Not that easy to build it. I also never built a paper vehicle before (Except small Space Marine vehicle). So I think it will be an interessting challange for me. pozdrowienia |

Hello,
and sorry for the delay but I´ve some problems with my real car. It doesn´t pass the two year inspection. Now I have 4 weeks to make my car fit for the re-inspection, otherwise I will have no more vehicle :(( . So today I finally started with my other paper car the garbage truck. First I scanned all the parts and made a digital copy. You never know... Until yet the parts fits well together. Next days I will probably finish the chassis and paint it black. That´s all for now, a small start for a big truck. More to come this week |

Meanwhile I painted almost the whole chassis and the small parts like feuel tank e.t.c. , but the springs took me more time to build and paint that I thoutght. But until now I´m happy with my work.
For the muffler and propeller shaft I took a brass wire and put it through an old tube from my airbrush system. So the color can not scrape off that easily like it would from the brass wire. Because I´ve to work at the weekend, I can´t go on until next week. |

Yesterday I finished the chassis. I painted the whole frame black and now I´m thinking about little bit weathering effekt. I do it often with my plastic models, for example drybrushing or attach some dust/pigments.
But first I want to make the wheels. I try it with rigid foam. Its not bad but little difficult to cut it in form. I was so motivated that I almost forgot about the laser-cut pieces. So I will use them now to finish the other wheels. |

I´ve some problems to show you my progress, because after 1 minute there where a message sais "You have been bannend from this page" . The Same on my tablet... Now after days I thought I try it again. Until now it is going well. So I want to present my progress. It was very hot the last 3 weeks here and the temperature in my flat rised up to 30°C (84° F). But I found some days to go forward.
I pick up the alternative cabin i got from Sebastian and printed out. Thank you very much!!. A short time after that, my printer broke up, but luckily i get my prints - . Yes my life is full of mishap but it makes interessting. I make some olor changes to the cabin. So I hope I can glue the pieces together next days, bevor the next heat wave comes. |

Thnaks!
A small update. The Cabin is coming forward. Slowly but surely. But I had some problems with the front lights. My other plastic kits had no such headlights left over. Then in my nightshift when I was preapering some pills for my Patients I got the Idea. I take some empty pill bags or blister (or waht´s the name in English??) and voilŕ they fit perfekt and looks almost like the headlights I need. Some changes will be still made for the final result. (see picture). I will also improve the seats and steering wheel. |
