Anyone know of a 1930s or 40s semi truck paper model?

Anyone know of a 1930s or 40s semi truck paper model? I'm working on an action figure comic book based in the 1930s.

Any type of semi truck from that era. My comic will start in New York City and travel to different locations involving Nikola Tesla. It will be an action figure comic using my mini movie set displays that I design and create. I use a lot of customized paper model vehicles as set pieces in the background. I work with 6 inch action figures and its hard to find 1/12th scale vehicles especially for vintage vehicles.

Could you modify Cami's Toy Truck?

I'm no expert but I looked into this some time ago for a personal project, and found some options. For the 1930-1940 period some American trucks were license-built by the USSR - the 1929 Autocar SA was built as the 1932 ZIS-5/6, and the 1941 lend-lease International Harvester KR-11 influenced the 1947 ZIS-150/120N. The 1942 lend-lease Chevrolet G-7107 likely inspired the 1946 GAZ-51P/63.

There're many legitimate free downloads of the ZIS-5, ZIS-150 and GAZ-51 from Russian designers that could be scaled up to 1/12 - there is a ZIS-120N tractor and trailer by Kotelnikov that would work, but it's in 1/100. Enlarging anything 10x is asking for trouble, you're better off starting with (x3) 1/32 and (x4) 1/43 versions.

Then there's the 1939 lend-lease Studebaker US6 6x6 by Robototehnik in (x4) 1/50, which could be modified into a tractor. There are many trailers that could be modified so you don't have to start from scratch.

Actually, there's one more freebie I forgot to add that might fit your needs!

Check out the French 'forum en papier' with the search terms 'cirque pinder' or 'pinder papercraft' for what appears to be a war-surplus [note the canvas roof] 1944 Marmon-Herrington H-425/426 cabover prime mover with matching trailer in Pinder Circus colors.

I'm guessing it's about 1/43 since that scale's popular in the forum, and it's fairly simple with 2D wheels and few parts. I don't remember if it's in GIF, JPG or PNG format, but if you split the cab and chassis into separate pages you might be able to fit a 1/12 enlargement onto letter or A4 paper. Good luck!
