Is that the 'USAHEC Pick up truck March 2013 Event.pdf' ?

I have that one, but was unsure of whether it could be shared

There is also a CMI_2012_Holiday_Pickup_Truck.pdf

Some background:

Camille (Cami) Morin was a talented paper model designer and automobile enthusiast who had a website and also offered her models via ECardmodels.

She recolored an existing model of hers that we used as a hand out for the 2013 Paper Modelers at Army Heritage Days event. I think it was her own design (a "1945 Morin") based on pickup trucks of the 1945-50 era.

In order to comply with DoD and Army regulations and Title 10 legal provisions, the Director of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center enlisted Cami as a USAHEC Volunteer, and it was in that capacity that she did the recolor.

The following year, Greg Perry displayed a military police sedan that Cami had designed based on the 1957 Chevy Bellaire. It used to be available at ECardmodels.

Cami later became fully engaged in the world of full-sized automobiles. When I last talked with her a few years ago, she was pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.

I started building the pickup truck. Do you know what it is? Is it a Dodge, Chevy, other? It does not say....

It is not as simple as one may think and the instructions need a bit more detail, but I am getting close to finishing it and will start posting later as I am now traveling in my small RV.

Thanks

Isaac

Isaac -

To the best of my knowledge and belief, it is a 1945 Morin: a truck designed by Cami to emulate the common picks ups of the 1945-50 timeframe, with features of the Dodge, Chevy, Ford, and other pick up trucks of the time.

As you say, it is not an easy build, but it looks good when built. Greg Perry, among others, successfully built Cami's models.

I look forward to seeing yours.

Don

Having problems with the grill to the front connection. I will have to figure it out as the photos are too far and low resolution.

I’ll get to it later today
