Fiat 600 from 1962 (French Model)
Here's a very quick build..... I found a low-resolution print of the original card that was given free with the French magazine 'Marabout Junior', in1962. Quite charming, so I decided to build it.
After cutting out, I decided to remove some of the tabs, as they would only complicate the build. After scoring/folding, I started gluing at the top and worked backwards, doing each side bit-by-bit to maintain straightness. Then I moved from the top towards the front. Finally, I secured the underneath. The wooden dowel is held in place with cardboard and allowed me to handle the completed model for varnishing. |

After varnishing, I coloured the headlamps with Tamiya translucent yellow acrylic paint.
I made the base using a paving block print that I created/downloaded on a free site that John Wagenseil on this forum posted about recently. I glued it onto cardboard and framed it with card. |

Pretty little thing, really nostalgic. Once the world was young...

Thanks, all. Forgot to mention, the scale is approximately 1/50.
