Very realistic looking tires and rims. Great work.

Thank you Gary.

Work on the engine is in progress. I am currently making valve covers. I make letters and stripes in 3D. I will cover them with CA glue. Then I'll paint them red and sand down the letters and stripes, which should reveal and make them visible. I had a problem with the letter "o", but maybe it won't look that bad.

The rest of the elements that got letters and stripes in 3D.

The exhaust system is very simplified, flat. On the other hand, when I look at the exhaust manifold of the original, I am not surprised by the author of the project

Doing those pipes in paper would be quite a challenge.

Those wheels are things of BEAUTY!

Can't wait to see the rest of the build.

The design of equal length headers will have strange bends so that the exhaust gases from each cylinder pulse will reach the collector at the same rate vs unequal length headers which exist because they are economically easier to design, are just lighter or are required due to design constraints.

Imagine calculating the required linear length and translate that into pipe bends so that each cylinder has the same travel length.
