Time for a little update. I've finished the engine, the main frame of the model and I already have the rear part of the chassis.

Engine and headers look very nice. You're off to a great start on the chassis.

I remember watching a video of someone restoring a Lotus and was amazed how over designed these were to eliminate weight. Poor sod ended up with a questionable chassis.

I hear more and more bad opinions about this car. However, this does not change the fact that it is one of the most beautiful cars in the history of the automotive industry.

I finished the chassis. Originally, the frame is galvanized, but I saw a report of someone restoring Lotus and that's where the black frame was and I liked how it looks in combination with orange springs, so I did the same

Agreed, the black frame and the orange springs contract really well.

Yes, they do.

In the meantime, I finished the interior, did the whole bodywork, put on the roof and windows. As I mentioned earlier, I didn't like the front of this car in this project. I've seen some build reports and photos of the finished model, and they all look like they've been broken in half. This project sucks. I decided to do it my way, starting changes at the skeleton level. I did all the elements of the front myself. The photos show what I got. For me, the effect is satisfactory. Now comes the leveling and sanding phase.

The interior looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing your bodywork on this kit.
