Dorothy the Furniture Delivery Van
Here's my next project. I suspect I will be leaning heavily on Styrian Spitfire's excellent build and documentation of this same model here on the forum.
I will, however, be using the available laser cut set. This set looks very comprehensive and has pre colored parts for the tires and wheels. Yes! I took notice of the designer and am familiar with his work (Angraf M1A1, Gremir F15A-beta build). I expect a few issues may crop up here or there, based on those earlier experiences. We shall seen. And yes I've named this vehicle Dorothy. I blame that on Jack Colin. Greg Greg

Construction begins. The base frame (parts 1-8).
I noted Styrian Spitfire's issue with proper location of the cross tubes. I did not notice this issue with mine when comparing where he located his tubes and where the locating marks on mine actually lined up. Not sure the difference, maybe GPM fixed the model before I got my copy. Stranger things have happened. Greg

I was previously unfamiliar with this vehicle and missed the Styrian Spitfire thread. It has a wonderful 1950s Central European look to it to my eye and I look forward to seeing Dorothy take shape.

Springs installed. No issues. Up next is front axle assembly.

Axles built and installed. There are no locating marks on the springs so I centered them as well as I could.
The tie rod is not wire. There is a pattern for it but the laser set has one included. In fact the laser set has many of the wire parts included. I like that. Greg

Wheels are on! Easiest wheels ever! Only the inner wheel rim was from the basic kit. All other parts were laser cut.
The outer tread bands have the treads engraved in them. However, there are extra tire tread strips provided too. Unfortunately they do not match the spacing on the tread band engraving. So I left them off. Tires look fine without them. Greg

The cargo box interior. Just a little complex.
