Thank you, Erik for the excellent explanation. This manner of thinking works well for me, that is until the cat decides to land on top of a pile of model sheets and the whole mess slides off onto the floor...

You can't get of this that easy. I too have cats, but don't lose work to them. I keep model sheets, i.e. new kits, in a pile by the bed, and don't keep all unbuilt projects piled on the worktable... only two of them. Projects are on top of book cases, in plastic donut containers stacked in the corner, on the dresser, in boxes by the TV... well, use your multi-tasking skills and develop unique storage solutions!

In electronic terms we build in parallel rather than in series.

The say admission of an addiction is the first step. I mean, really, card models is an addiction?

I may have a stack of unbuilt models as tall as I am, but that is most definitely not a sign of any addiction.

That is my position, and I will not change it...

Dear List folks:
I tried to not do it I really did, however a straight line like this is just too good to pass up.
Dear Erik:
if was a stack as tall as I am, then it would be ADMD, How ever you just have a short stack! May be Erik can find and post a picture of the two of us in uniform from years ago in the wilds of the far West.

good point. I am short, therefore the stack is not terribly high. Miles is fairly tall, so his stack ...

I do have a pic of Miles and I together while in cavalry duty in the Wild West, infested with hostile indians, but that is too much for this sensitive and refined forum to see.

However, I might point out, Miles did not discuss his significant pile of unbuilt card models. Inquiring minds want to know. As the old saying goes, the pot should not call the kettle 'black'.

I'll have to try that one on my wife...She's got me convinced I'm just impulsive and more eager to start than to finish!
