I could never, ever understand why it was a five minute walk to the pub, but it was a half hour's walk back home.
I mean, the difference is staggering !

You're absolutely right Jim, but the pundemic's hit me hard and it's just groan and groan since then. I tried to get a Vaccine but I made a pig's ear of my request form and they gave me a Porcine instead. It's been the same with my modelling, I've been trying to make a model of the first aircraft to fly but I just can't seem to get it Wright. I think I may have to stop now I can feel things, like the bookies, getting the better of me.

You've been taking the title of this thread far too precisely.
Your punishing us too much.

A young man walked into the doctor's surgery. In one ear he had a carrot, in the other ear a parsnip. Pushed up into each nostril was a broad bean pod.
"Doctor", he said, "I feel tired all the time and I haven't been to the toilet for days!".
"What do you think could be wrong with me?"

"To be honest, I don't think you've been eating properly"

My teacher at art college told me I would never be any good at poetry because I was dyslexic.
Absolutely ridiculous !
So far I've made four vases and three teapots and they all look fine to me.

I am absolutely flabbergasted !
My friend just told me that Albert Einstein was a real person !
I'd always thought he was a theoretical physicist.

A shark can swim faster than me, but I can run faster than a shark.
So, in a triathlon, it would come down to who was the better cyclist.

Now I drive a van delivering to Greggs stores in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe

= proving that I can take pie to three dismal places.
