1860s wharf boat 1/250 scale waterline.
Here is a wharf boat common during the Civil War. This one is 300 feet long by 60 feet long. The one in the photo I used for a base seems even bigger!

Miles, you are on the money I think! They are similar, though the ark would have been much deeper in draft. It is amazing what people have been able to get to float long before the welding torch and diesel engine!
