Speaking for myselves, I only buy printed kits so I'm out of the combo even before it have started
But I do find it strange that noone has entered the combo.
The advertising have been on some other forums also,so I don't understand why noone have entered.
Maybe people are lazy at this time of year

I have 3 models going and haven't been motivated to get much work done on any - I don't see any way to ensure I'd meet the deadline. Seems like a great offer, just too much stuff going on to make sure I could get a model done in the timeframe.

Basically the same here. I've got two builds and a re-org going on at work.

The main reason I haven't sent in my build is I am still working on the B17 I'm designing in 1/50th scale for my friends' father. However I will start on my build this weekend. Has anybody used the Profili program to make wing ribs for your models. I used to use it for radio control models a couple of years ago but I hadn't used it for paper models yet. What took so long in designing the B17 was the large wing structure. The five configurations I tried were to heavy or to weak. I tried the Profili program and was able to make the wing structure in about half an hour. I used nine ribs in 1mm card with 110 lb. card skining and it came out very well. Anyway, I'll be starting my build stortly.

I say find a community and stick with it - they are all pretty great! I am not asking anyone to leave here - not by any stretch. Just looking for people to build models and win prizes :P

Chris --

I missed this one because I was decisively engaged on a number of fronts when the contest began (and I never got started on my proposed entry for Rick's No COmfort and Joy contest for the same reason). If you ever do this again, I will try to participate.

It looks like there was some pretty good participation.

Don
