Niced work. These look miles better than my first attempt: a John Bowden repaint as one of the three birds used by the U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Test Board (ASOTB) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, as a parachute delivery system chase aircraft. I hope to start a thread soon with images of my lumpty Army T-28B, along with the results of my research so far on T-28s in U.S. Army service. My goal is to build three T-28Bs (preferably in 1/50 scale) in Navy blue, the standard Army high-visibility olive drab and white scheme used by the U.S. Army Aviation Engineering Flight Activity (AAEFA) at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), and one (better that my first attempt, I hope) in the Navy red and white scheme used by the ASOTB. If I can ever find evidence of the colors and markings of the single T-28A loaned to the Army for evaluation in 1952-53, I'd like to build a model of that one, too.
Meanwhile, I am enjoying the good info and fine builds appearing in the various threads sparked by Murph's T-28 model. Don |

Nice Job Knife!!!..........
I can send you the png file of the exhaust shield if you want, but it looks like you did a good job with what you used. Glad you got the Bomb Racks done up, I haven't found mine yet.......... must go through another old hard drive............. Been working on the Huff 'n' Puff zap and it was a real dragon to do! But I think it looks pretty good......... now I've got to finish the 15th Strike Wing for the tail.......... attached pic is what I did my zap by |
