1st Quarter 2016 Murph's Models repaint contest
This one is gonna be a little different. It is open to repaints of any model on my site, new or old.
If you've ever done a repaint of one of my models, but haven't sent it in, now's your chance. New repaints are welcome as well. Since time seems to fly lately, this contest is gonna be open until the Ides of March (March 15th), with voting from the 15th to the 32nd, and the winner announced on the 33rd of March, or 1st of April, whichever comes first. -1st Prize winner will get all entered models, plus a $20 site credit. -2nd Prize winner will get all entered models. -3rd Prize winner will get a $10 site credit. -4th prize winner will get a picture of my cat. -5th prize winner gets to change her litter box. Last 2 prizes are subject to availability of my cat (If I get one by March) This is the small print stuff. If you can read it, you don't need glasses. Not valid if a magnifying glass is currently in use. |

Are we allowed to use models that were recolored previously? Last edited by croden; 01-04-2016 at 12:04 AM. |

It has to be a model from my site. I don't own the rights to the Oddball Productions series anymore, so I can't accept repaints for those, unless I do them myself.
I just had a warm discussion with somebody on another site, so I need to do some clarification. -Don't change the page layout. I've developed it over many years, and it allows me to instantly recognize one of my models on any site, plus it keeps consistency between the model sheets. -Don't remove the Murph's Models logo. That's my copyright. -No drastic redesigns. You're repainting one of my models, not redesigning it. Small add ons like fins, pitot tubes, antennas, landing gear parts, or weird bumps and parts specific to the plane you're modelling are ok. |

Hmmm. Maybe it's time to get it on and do the B-25 model I've threatened to in my mind.

I might try vectoring the BW 707 and do some recolours if I can....

Murph- You had me laughing so hard on the prizes and disclaimer that my son came over to check on me. He read them and proceeded to rofl for real.
I have an F-86D repaint started that I need to get done. Hmmm. I picked up the XV-15 black & white as well. Maybe I can play in this round as well. |

I can supply a picture of a cat if need be.
I would offer to supply material for "Litter Change: Home Edition", but I cannot legally ship hazardous waste...

Only thing is I'm not so good at vectoring graphics....
