Once this contest is done, I have an idea for the next FG contest: Have everyone build the same airplane even the same color scheme and see who can modify it the best. I would suggest a model like the Boeing Stearman.

Sorry, I shouldn't harass the aesthetically challenged airframes, should I?

Hey, just cause you fixed wing guys need a half mile of runway to get off the ground...and back on it...:p

Not that many. Just the B-10, the P.13a, the Heinkel 178, P-1109(there's a funny story behind that one), The Horten Ho-IV. Not to mention redrawing a bunch of the gliders..Uff. I need to design more heliocopters...

You don't always get to use that half mile of runway to back on the ground. But if you takeoff that way, it sure is nice to return that way!

Meanwhile back at the FG contest...

I've had a Sikorsky S39, printed and sitting on my work table for about a month...got to to build it now.

Don't know if it will be "stock", "c modified" or a no show...too early to tell.

You would pick the Stearman - I just finished building it. You can see it in "Tutorials>Rigging Aircraft with Tippet". Well, I can always build another one
