I noticed that during the news coverage of Queen Elizabeth's 4 day birthday
celebration/holiday, one of the restored Lancaster bombers did a fly over with fighter escort. Still amazes me that she drove a truck during WWII, press (PR, morale booster, etc.) Well, she was a princess of the royal family back then. My mom and her are the same age, but my mom is 4 months older. And the Queen just keeps going, even beyond my mom. Jeff |

Yeah, once the Queen is gone, I think they should pack up the rest of the family
and move them to Beverly Hills. Before they say or do any more stupid things. They are a massive tourist draw for England, and thats why they're still here. Estimated half a billion Pounds per year just from Royal related tourism. Unfortunately the "woke" and the "anti-boomers" have begun their mission to wipe out the past, Royals included. Its funny...every generation always thinks they are the "new gold standard" but there has never been such an effort to replace and erase the past, as we see now. Its a shame. Whats next? erase and forget about all the past wars and war heroes? because its not "pc" or "woke" or Instagram friendly? ...

Well, I had one P47 test build coming...but that builder has flown the coop with the free model and left no word on whether I will see any photos.
Disappointing. Myself, I have decided to try to build the new Tarheel Hal. I never built this model before, and now that I have updated the paint scheme, I want to see it built. Actually...I have backdated the paint scheme! To the original wartime Tarheel Hal (its a bit different from the pseudo-replica that flies today) I'm also working on Raid Hot Mama...but I'll probably only build the fuselage, just to test the graphics. Stay tuned.

This Tarheel Hal will be a great compliment to my other one. Looking forward to having them side by side.

Those seams are nearly invisible! Wonderful work.

Those seams are well hidden in that photograph..
Shoot from the wrong angle, and you can make your models look a lot worse, shoot from a better angle and make it look a lot better. Trust me, I've admitted before, I am a rushed and often sloppy builder.
