You have to request it on the day of your birthday. Just put a reminder in your calendar. Which kit are you going to ask for?

I guess the choice is irritation or amusement. To be fair, I'll go with amusement.

If anyone takes the time to read the entire thread (its NOT that long)
they will find all the info they need to know to get a model from me.

But as is the case, many do not take the time to read
...rather they jump to the end of a thread
...or just guess at whats going on and start asking for "free stuff".

OR...they start asking questions about how to get free stuff
(rather than simply looking for the info in the thread).

In this case, I've repeated it more than once
...in fact, only a dozen or so posts ago, I actually re-quoted the specific posts that would give you the necessary information.

But then you came long ...LOL...someone I know personally...and you do the same thing! LOL



So, to reitterate:
Since I am the one giving away the free model, why do I have to check in here for new posts, private messages, etc.?
And why do I have to try to remember (a week ahead) who to send a model to on their birthday?
I also stipulated that I wanted to receive requests on (or close enough to) Birthdays...not the following month (and not days/weeks before).

Its a pretty simple thing...and I'm gonna be nice and say it again.
ON your birthday, send me an EMAIL, say 'WHERES MY BIRTHDAY MODEL?" and tell me WHAT MODEL you want (up to $10 from Paper Model Shop Home).

I picked the Mk.IV Harvard RCAF 412 Canada https://www.ecardmodels.com/index.ph...per-model.html

Wow! what nice plans. It's my first set of plans from Dave (apart from the free ones he offers) and they sure are nice.

Since I'm just starting paper modeling, I was only building free stuff. But now that I see how detailed these plans are, I should have started with these. Everything is clearly laid out. A great help for a new people that have no idea on how to go about building. Can't wait to start it!
