Just to feedback - I haven't modelled in a while, but this may well get me going - it's starting to niggle and really appeals to my sense of humour!

And this model did get me going!

I have started a separate build thread here...

Santa's "Great Idea": Dave's 2019 Christmas Model.

Beautiful work there, sir. Now don't take this the wrong way, but I was actually glad to see corrugated cardboard in the base. Kris from Crooked Staff Terrain uses it very effectively. It's a material I used to use a lot when doing stage props, but has seen very limited use in my paper modeling. I think that this is yet another reminder to look for possible uses.
Have a Merry Christmas, sir

I was thinking Bob must have been a bit bent to use that cardboard for his base!

Hey, sometimes the expedient solution works very well. Looks good

So, in the build thread for this, I mentioned that I had other ideas for this model.

Here is one - a picture of a disgruntled reindeer eyeing out the "jet sledge".

For the reindeer, I used a friends horse and turned it into a Christmas Card for them (for the finished card see my build thread if you are interested http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/o...tml#post693376).
