Thats a fake photo.
WW2 photoshopping.
lol the teeth extend beyond the front of the boat in that picture, so it ain't painted on!

................
PT196 was a south Pacific experimental boat equipped with an extended tail (fuel tank)
in an effort to create a longer range patrol boat.
Apparently the one and only WW2 USN PT Boat with a unique camouflage paint job.

Neat looking mask graphic. Thanks, Dave.

There is a way to print on fabric.
Print On Fabric

It works.

If you have a printer that can print directly on fabric, you're laughing!
Not sure about the method Doug just gave us...my printer can't handle anything thicker than cardstock
and it jams a lot.

otherwise, walmart, michaels, etc, do sell ink-jet iron-on sheets.

I have some and have used them...they are hit and miss if you expect them to be washable.
They require heavy printing (set you printer to max saturation, vivid color).
Use high heat for a long time to apply.
Heat set the fabric afterwards (dryer?).

Make sure to cut out the patterns with the added material needed for stitching the two halves together.
