Just an update on the LB30 #76 ...
some of you may have noticed a little problem with the camo colour. Everytime I resave the file...as PDF, and Jpeg images the brown tone in the camo keeps shifting to a green. As I told someone else, its a very subtle "earth" tone brown that keeps coming out as a "khaki" type green every time I try to packup or resave the file. Anyway, point is, I don't like the way it looks and I'm gonna shift the colour to a more definite earth brown tone just to be more accurate. Won't take much effort at all, and the new files will be shipped out shortly! Sorry for any inconvenience...

(I wasn't completely clear, I meant "uploaded" from me, to my file host...but eventually to you and the store!) ...yeah, I should have made sure it was available before I posted.

don't want to sound a smart ass here dave, but in that sample picture above i notice a wheel? where the wheel well is I would think? just thought I would say it in case you have saved the file with the wheel there by accident?

On a B-24, when the gear is "up" the tire and wheel are still visible. "Gear doors" only cover the strut and support assembly for the Landing Gear. so you have three options with my "repaint": 1. leave the wing parts as-is, with simulated closed Gear (no cutting at all) 2. cut out the Wheel/Rim and Gear doors, insert the wheel well insert and 3D tire and wheel assembly, and closed Gear Doors (supplied) 3. cut out the Wheel/Rim and Gear doors, insert the wheel well insert, and assemble the Gear "down".

well, as some of you may have already learned...
Issue Two is in the store! HERE Issue Two of my B-24 "Rare & Unusual Paint Schemes Series Three" I chose to do a couple of "Formation" Planes for issues 2 and 3. (Just started work on the next one!) But I really liked the paint scheme on Lucky Gordon. I thought it was very vivid and unusual and it was a fun repaint! I had to make many changes with this version of the B-24 and I thank Jeff for all his help with historical references and B-24 info! All the usual colouring and texturing, and many new details! I'm really happy with this one. heres a couple of detail samples... And...as usual...if anyone would like a free copy in return for a timely build and some photos for the store....just let me know!
