I did, sorry. Tired when I wrote the post and was sloppy.
I thought the movie version of the old Class F shuttle was pretty kool [ ;-) ] and there were some really good views of it in the movie (almost as many as in the entire TOS of the original shuttle!). What do you think?

Minios Car
Hello all,
the minions car is definitively an Autobianchi Bianchina Cabriolet. Just check it out on Google. Its a Fiat 500 mechanic with a very cute Outfit. Greetings Michael |

The Autobianchi must definitely be the inspiration. Look...this one even has minions in it! ... So, this is Lucy's Car. She was originally a Secret Agent, before she hooks up with Gru. An Italian car makes more sense now. Unfortunately this car also flies and is a submarine. So that makes it more difficult as a paper model. (I won't be making the different versions!) But I like the base car...and I like Minions...so it definitely gets a slot on the To-Do list!

Yep! Reckon you're right there Niedance. And from Dave's picture ... I was surprised to see that it does actually have a back seat.
I think I'll stick with the Triumph though. The one I'm considering is a bit of a hybrid. It's a Vitesse remodeled into an estate and has a 2.5 lt six shoe horned into it to give a bit more zoom, zoom, zoom. I'd still love a Koolwheelz Bianchina to go with my minion collection though. OH, and my Minions are made of paper Dave, not Pla**ic.

Jup 2
I love those mini cars. wish I had one now. my first car in high school was a safety cone orange swiss cart. I actually carried the engine to the service station to have the valves grinded. it was pretty small and mostly tin and wood, but now I would give... to have it. 70 mpg, I think I got it up to 55 mph once.
anyway here is a pic of the J2 so far, the dome is a blue marble. |
