Info on South African roadhouses. Perhaps a diorama with an Aston-Martin parked outside.

A great site you found Don.

I have been in my time to most of those. There also used to be one not far from here. I will go have a look when I next go out - it is in an area that I ever go to, so I don't know if it still exists.

Harrys is a favourite and I have been there a lot. Near a spot where I used to go to take train pics.

Here is the Menu which is fun...

Suggestion - roadhouse diorama background for Kool Wheelz. Some of the models would look fine parked there!

Designed this model a couple of months back, and some of you have already seen it.
Time to publish it!

For those of you that didn't already know, I haven't been totally impressed with the over-hyping of the Tesla Cybertruck.
Sure, its a cool, modern, futuristic concept vehicle...and I am all for that.
But what has bothered me is the bafoonery and bragging that Musk and Tesla have offered about this truck...
while offering up no real facts regarding just how good, or how bad, this truck might be.
Musk has already admitted in interviews that the "production" version of the truck will have to be undego numerous changes.

And, the number of paper cybertruck models that have suddenly appeared, made another paper model pointless.
So I decided very quickly not to join the masses on this one.

I'll wait to see what the actual truck looks like when it hits production...if it ever hits production,.
And I'll wait for the real world reviews, before I like or dislike it...or consider it for a paper model.

In the meantime, I thought it would be funny if two mega billionaires went head to head.
One designed a weird and wonderful truck that isn't really needed...but is eco-friendly
and the other in need of a new and innovative delivery truck (since dropping the use of outsourced delivery services).

So, not to be outdone by the electric Cybertruck, amazon presents the recyclable Cardboard Truck!
Scale model version obviously.

Not much else to say really...print it, build it, fold it flat before recycling.
Download it from the Specialz-Promotional section of Koolwheelz.

That . . . Is very silly. Just what the world needs with so much going on that isn’t light-hearted. Speking of which, I built the Virusbusters van box-stock today, as a little gift for my boss who has drawn the unenviable task of being the head of our return-to-work committee.

Thanks Anne.
You are heading back to work? I assume the entire Museum has been closed...is it reopening?
...

Years ago I was asked...numerous times...to do a Koolwheelz version of the General Lee.
Since I was never a huge fan of the show or the car, I couldn't be bothered.

But I'd put the Gen Lee up against the A-Team van any day!!

A short time later I broke down and did a 'tooned version which is still available on my site.

So today I'm thinking...just out of the blue, not sure why...maybe its time to do a new General Lee model.
Maybe something less toon style, and more realistic style.

Anyone interested, or is it a forgotten icon?

They will crucify you if you put a confederate flag on it. But I would like to have one

I grew up with the Duke Boys, so I'm always in for a model of the General Lee.

A new General Lee model would be nice!

Like the old one. And it has to have to the correct markings otherwise it would'nt be a Genera Lee!

The car yes, but I'd personally say 🙀🙀🙀 when it comes to the flag, especially at this particular moment in time - I wouldn't want to brave the backlash.
