The Batmobile looks great! I see so many models that are heavy on design, but light on graphics. Always nice to see examples of how detailed graphics can balance a relatively simple design.

I especially like the windshield. I think "glass" must be the most challenging graphic to convincingly depict.

I know that I mentioned it somewhere around here in the past...but I'll say it again... I think Rommel's Rod would make a real cool model (in paper of course) and Dave I think you're just the one to make it happen:D:D:D

BTY...Nice boat

Rommel's Rod....wow, haven't seen that since i was a kid!
if I am correct, another fantastic Tom Daniels design!

Might be a little too complicated for my design skills
and to keep it simple enough for this series.

.................................................. .........................................

"Snot Rod" however is coming along nicely!

Did a "white" beta test build last night
and just about everything went as planned.

A number of small tweaks and adjustments required (thats what a beta test means, right?)
and then it went off to the paint shop.
(did I mention this is my favorite part?)

This is by far pushing the limits of "simplicity" for this series.
Snot Rod has a separate rear Tire assembly, a separate chassis/body assembly,
and the "blown engine" proved to be a bit of a challenge.

I didn't want to upscale the car anymore...trying to keep all these models in the same size/scale range.
So, there are some very small parts to assemble for the motor,
which means this model is a bit trickier than my other "HOT" Wheels vehicles.

Nice Batmobile Dave! I like it. Speaking of the Batmobile, this too is a Batmobile. In fact, it's the original from the 1930's comics... Funny that it was posted at the same time, inadvertently maybe?

Great stuff! :D I just wandered in here for the first time and was blown away. Wonderful, whimsical designs. I was born a bit too early to get in on the Hot Wheels craze, although I did have some "Dinky Toys" cars which are about the same size but not nearly as cool. I'm eagerly awaiting the "Snot Rod". I'm a big fan of drag racing, and there are NO NHRA paper models out there. The Snot Rod is about as close as it gets, for the time being at least. Thanks for designing these and making them available.

All very cool. This one gets my vote - A combination of hotrod and fighter plane.

I am soooooo chuffed about Snot Rod!!

I can't believe how great this one turned out!
In my opinion, this is my best "HOT"Wheel so far!

yes, its got a couple of smaller parts to make up the "Blower" and "Scoop"...which makes it a bit trickier for the inexperienced builder, but I think its worth it.

The final effect is so much more than I anticipated.
I am very happy with my limited skill effort on this one!

Lots of cool little details...I had a lot of fun designing this one!

Its available on my site...get it fast...it will only be available for download for a limited time!
I will remove the files on Dec25 2067!
Password for the file is "idontgiveauhuwhatyouthink"

Heres some more pics:
(I didn't have the proper Orange for the edge colouring, so I used a yellow marker instead.
...unfortunately it glows from the camera flash! ...not so bad in person.)

Great job! I grabbed the file right away, since it's only available thru 2067. Whew, made it just under the wire. The only thing is, Snot Rod is about to make a bye run. The poor guy needs an opponent.
