already have Mike!...problem is the scale is too large.

I might revisit it,
but it will have to be much smaller than 1/60 to fit on one page.
(1/60 is the average KoolWheelz scale)

We'll see.

well, mine is actually a little tricky to assemble...mainly because of the small scale.
There are some complicated compound curves and angles built into this car,
but I have done my best to simplify them (KoolWheelz style).

So, don't be too picky about accuracy.
(Thats goes for all my KoolWheelz models!)

A large scale version of this car would be a very nice kit, if you got the colours and textures right.

I know, I know...it doesn't have any "wheelz"!
but then again, neither does the Hover Taxi!

"Wheelz" can mean the same thing as "ride".
And a "kool" ride, is good enough for me!

And its designed by Gene Winfield...
how can I leave it off the list?!

so, I took another look, and made a few changes...
but most importantly, I reconsidered the overall size and scale.

The usual KoolWheelz scale is about 1/60.
But the Galileo will be just too large to fit on one sheet.
(and too large to fit on my KoolWheelz shelf!)

I shrunk it down to approximately 1/72 scale.
(Roughly based on the blueprint measurements)

As usual, its the KoolWheelz style with a lot of simplified structure.
(Although the domed fronts on the nacelles are a pain in the butt!)

But it still looks pretty good...and took me roughly two hours to build.
It could probably be done in a hour if you concentrated.

Should it go into the KoolWheelz collection? or is it totally off the mark?

You could put it on your Miscellaneous Free Downloads page if you don't put it on the KoolWheelz page.

I want it. I've been looking for an easy to build Star Trek shuttle for years.

One I thought of...Anybody remember the old TV show 'Viper'?

Or, if you get inclined to do a truck, how about 'The Highwayman'?

Highwayman Truck
AuctioneerExpress.com

Although, being part helicopter...I might have to tackle it. I wonder which section of the downloads it would go in...

Highwayman is an interesting Truck Murph...but too complicated for me
to try as a KoolWheelz.
Also, the Trucks might not fit onto one page (which is still the current goal).

And anyway, I have never even heard of the TV show, so it has no connection for me.

I assume thats a helicopter shell up front?
The Truck would make a great RV or rolling Office.
But the paint job (even the repaint) is awful! lol

.....

Galileo Shuttle is ready...

I am trying a new D/L service.
I can't afford the current one, and downloaders just aren't donating funds to help pay for the hosting costs.

My choice is to put all the files on Fileserve, or go back to Mediafire.
I really like Mediafire, but Fileserve offers me a few other extras.
Mediafire is free, and Fileserve costs me a small amount.
I also use Fileserve for other things.

Anyway, maybe you guys could try both downloads and tell me which one you prefer...which is easier to use, etc.

Galileo KoolWheelz at FILESERVE

Galileo KoolWheelz at MEDIAFIRE

Thanks
