I'm pretty sure my uncle's gun will be pretty nice... He's a member of the Texas Gun Collectors Association and has a decent collection of Colts. I'm going to try and send him a reminder probably Monday or so.

Yeah. I use mine regularly, so it's got some wear and tear, plus scratches from me trying to remove the pin so I can get the cylinder out for cleaning.

ive started a test build of the gun.i set the scale according to a 7.5 inch barrel. but something doesnt seem right. Azguy can you give me a measurement of the grip indicated in this pic?

Sure can, mine measures 3 and 5/16ths inches

im just surprised how close i got considering no blueprints and the 3d was layed off of a photograph! lol
